This is the music i made with only 1 clip of a guitar and also 1 drum kit. I changed mostly the volume and also it is cool because we had limited effects we only could use 4

 

 

                                         

1 Clip Song Finished

This is my own “groove” made in Ableton Live 6. I really like Ableton music software because I find it very complete and professional. To create this song I used effects like: Auto Filter and EQ 8, and only one clip. I changed the clip various times with tools like Envelope and Launch. I really enjoyed making this song and because of it I became much more familiar with Ableton. I am looking foward to continue to use Ableton this year!

This is my ‘groove’. It has three copies of one clip, but  they all have different effects.They do sound very different. I also added a ‘slow groove drum’ which made it have a beat.It might sound very simple but its the best I could do… hope you like it!

1 Clip Song Finished

This is my Live project of one clip. In this project I used many effects to make the one clip that Mr. Farren gave me sound diffrent in many classes. I used a vesion of the Auto Filter called Nebulo to make my clip sound in an awkward way that I liked. I used an impulse drum kit which is actually an instrument. This instrument lets you drop clips into its slots and you can creat a drum kit using this clip. I made a beat using the drum kit that sounded cool. I used the envelope to transpose the clip and make it in a lower pitch sound. I left another kit as the original clip. and used the envalope again to cut one in half so that it makes another sound. I combined all of these sounds to make music. And I came up with this song. Last year we did  this same project with another clip and I personally think I did better this year.
